Our Hills candle is crafted to burn beautifully and last. With proper care, you can enjoy it safely and to its fullest.
Place your candle on a flat, heat resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable objects, children, and pets. During the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly to the edges to prevent tunneling and ensure a smooth, long lasting burn.
Do not burn for more than four hours at a time and never leave it unattended. Stop burning when about 5 mm of wax remains.
After burning allow the wax to cool completely before moving the candle. Store in a dry, temperate place between 15 °C and 25 °C, away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration or changes in the wax.
Please note that wax can naturally shrink in colder temperatures. If your candle has been stored in a cool space, let it sit at room temperature for about one hour before lighting to ensure an even burn.
